How can you benefit from this Website?

Brazil MBA was developed with the main purpose to provide current and future MBA Brazilian students and alumni from different schools around the world with the opportunity to communicate easily and network effectively with their Brazilian colleagues. Cur personal experience showed us that it is very important (and critical) to stay connected with the MBA community. This website is free of charge and with non-profit purposes. We see our initiative as the initial step towards the construction of a collective toot which will meet the needs of a large group of people that share common interests and similar challenges along the development of their careers.

You can benefit from this tool in two different ways:

1) As a network tool only

You can use this website just as a network tool only. You can register and enter only your basic information and will be able to access the basic information of other MBA students from other schools. Basic information includes name, email address, school name, year of graduation and industry experience. lt will not take more than 3 minutes to register. Only those people registered in the website will have access to the basic information.

With this tool, you will be able to contact Brazilian students in other schools to exchange ideas, discuss professional and personal opportunities, schedule events, rent apartments, etc.

2) As an additional and focused job search tool

You can use this website as an additional job search tool for summer and full time opportunities. You will need, however, to include details about your career experience and objectives. The registration is easy and will not take more than 15 minutes. Your profile will only be accessed by interested companies. Your profile will NOT be public and will NOT be shared to other students. Students, including you, will only be able to see the basic information of other students and his/her own personal information.

With this tool, you will be able to increase your exposure to top recruiters in Brazil and in North America. From an employer's standpoint, many want to recruit MBA candidates from the widest pool possible, but due to the high expense, find it impossible to cover all of the top schools For this reason, they most likely are unaware of ideal and qualified candidates and miss the opportunity to interview outside of their core schools. Potential employers would be able to obtain valuable information of candidates from several schools, helping them remove obstacles to hiring the ideal MBA candidate and leverage the unique value that MBAs can provide.

Who is supporting this initiative?

We have the support from the admissions offices, career offices, alumni services and Brazilian clubs from the Top North American schools, specially University of Michigan Business School, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard University . In addition, top recruiters in Brazil, such as Citibank, Banco Itau, Banco Bradesco, Unibanco, Banco do Brasil, ABN-Amro, Santander, Boston Consuming Group (BCG), Diamond Cluster, Value Partners, Roland Berger, Bain, KPMG, Accenture, Grupo Gerdau, RBS, Schering-Plough, Merck & Co, Grupo Votorantim, Embraco/Whirlpool, Cargill, McDonalds, Promon, IBM, Xerox, Braskem, Brasil Telecom, Telemar, Editora Abril, Sara Lee, DPaschoal, Laboratorio Fleury and Amanco are supporting this important initiative as strong believers of the success of this initiative.
